What's the difference between NEW BUILD and RENOVATION?

Same backbone of NYC restaurant data. Different filter and different audience. NEW BUILD is the earliest signal — Stage 1 through 3, when the entity is forming and the design and permitting work is happening. That's the right window for attorneys, insurance, accounting, architecture, and design. RENOVATION is the build phase with verified operator contact — Stages 3 through 6, filtered to active projects with an SLA DBA. That's the right window for trades, equipment, hood, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and GCs. Pick whichever matches what you sell.

Why $497 for NEW BUILD and $197 for RENOVATION?

The NEW BUILD audience tends to sell larger, longer engagements — a single new client pays for years of access. RENOVATION vendors usually have a faster sales cycle and tighter margins, so we keep that seat low. If it doesn't pay for itself in one new account, cancel.

Can I get both feeds?

Yes. Email buildout@jlittrell.com and we'll set up a combined seat. Most vendors only need one, but a few sell across both audiences and we'll price it accordingly.

How accurate is the data?

It's stitched from NYC's public DOB filings, SLA licenses, and DOH inspections, then resolved to a single venue per BBL parcel ID. Forward-match rate on real test cohorts is 88% for DOH and DOB NOW Filings. We flag what we can't resolve and ship what we can. If you spot an error, email us and we'll correct it the following week.

Where does the operator contact data come from?

On RENOVATION-class venues with an SLA DBA, we enrich with verified phone and Google place data. We don't enrich NEW BUILD venues because the address often returns the previous tenant, which would actively mislead you. The honest answer is sometimes 'we don't know yet,' and we'd rather say that than guess.

What about teams or multi-rep access?

What if I cancel?

Cancel anytime from the Billing portal inside your dashboard. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. No refunds — see the refund policy.
